How amazing are these chocolate barks topped with nuts and fruit!? Super Easy DIY chocolate bark…perfect for holiday gifts, party favors and much more!

INGREDIENTS:

1 bag of chocolate melts, any color of your choosing (you can find them at any candy or cake store including Michaels)

Dried Fruit (kiwi, orange, blood orange) *I dehydrate my own fruit, that will be another post*

Nuts (pistachio and peanut mix)

*You will also need some wax paper, cookie tray and a cake spatula

DIRECTIONS:

First lay out a sheet of wax paper on top of your clean cookie tray and put aside. Melt your chocolate in your chocolate melter. I use the Wilton Chocolate Melter Deluxe. If you dont have one you can also melt over heat, microwave or to your choosing. From here you have to work fast so the chocolate doesn’t harden before you finish. Pour the melted chocolate over the wax paper and use an angled icing spatula to spread and smooth out the chocolate (spread evenly to 1/8 of an inch). Then simply place the fruit and nuts on top while slightly pressing down so they stick to the chocolate. Let the chocolate harden in room temperature or pop in the fridge if you just can’t wait!

After about 15 mins take a knife and cut the chocolate into squares or any other shape based on your preference (you can even break it by hand).

Then…ENJOY!

Storage: Place them in a tin/glass jar or if you are going to gift them you can place in a clear cellophane bag. I like to use the self sealing clear cello bags.

Such an easy and affordable gift idea!

YUM.
