I love eggs and not just for cooking.   It’s amazing how you can use all parts of the egg, even the shell!  You can produce less trash by saving your egg shells to use as fertilizer for the garden.  I dont know about you but I dont like big chunks of egg shells in my garden.  It looks messy and I have OCD.  Here’s a SUPER easy tip to give your garden some extra nutrition.

INGREDIENTS

Dry egg shells.

DIRECTIONS

After I use eggs from cooking/baking I rinse the shells to get rid of any excess.  Store them in the fridge in an open container in order to fully dry.  Once you’ve collected at least 1 carton’s worth, use your blender to blend the dry egg shells into a powder.

Sprinkle on top of the dirt and water.

Done, so simple right?!

Happy gardening!
